This project aimed to create a modular, cost-effective syringe pump for microfluidic research that can be easily 3D printed and laser cut. This is not the final veion of the project; I hope to improve the clamp mechanism, but it works for single-action compression of a syringe. To fabricate the base is made of acrylic and laser cut and every other component is made to slot into it and then fastened with m3 screws into threaded ierts. A L289n Motor driver and an Arduino Uno R4 control it. In the future, I hope to improve the accuracy and rigidity of the device while maintaining the low cost and modularity.
